Purpose
This policy outlines how an NDIS provider protects participant privacy and dignity during service delivery, information handling, and support planning.
Policy Commitments
- Collect only the participant information needed to deliver safe, lawful supports.
- Store records securely and restrict access to authorised workers.
- Obtain informed consent before sharing participant information unless disclosure is required by law.
- Deliver personal supports in a way that respects participant choice, culture, modesty, and dignity.
- Record and escalate privacy incidents promptly.
